After onboarding, you'll receive login credentials for your Crave dashboard. This is your control center for managing your site, viewing analytics, and accessing support.
Your dashboard shows real-time metrics for your site: uptime, load times, storage usage, and recent activity. Green means everything is healthy.
Click the "WordPress Admin" button to go directly to your WordPress dashboard. You can also access it at yourdomain.com/wp-admin as usual.
Need help? Use the support button in your dashboard or email us directly. We typically respond within a few hours, often much faster.
After choosing a plan, you'll be asked to provide your current site URL, WordPress admin credentials, and hosting provider details. This creates a migration ticket that our engineering team picks up immediately.
We create a complete copy of your WordPress site on Crave infrastructure — files, database, media, plugins, everything. Your current site stays live and untouched throughout this process.
We test the cloned site on a temporary URL to verify everything works: forms, checkout flows, third-party integrations, media loading, and performance benchmarks. You'll get a preview link to review before we go live.
Once you approve, we update your DNS to point to Crave. If you use Cloudflare, we'll send an invite to cloudflare@cravehosting.com. Propagation typically takes minutes. Zero downtime.
Crave includes server-level page caching out of the box. You can purge your cache anytime from the dashboard. We handle cache invalidation on content updates automatically — no caching plugin needed.
SSL is provisioned automatically for your domain. Certificates are issued and renewed through Let's Encrypt with no action required on your part. All traffic is forced to HTTPS.
We don't host email — we recommend Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. We'll configure the MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for you. Open a ticket if you need DNS changes.
SSH and SFTP credentials are available in your dashboard under the Access tab. Use these for direct file management or WP-CLI access. Credentials can be reset anytime.
Once we have the necessary permissions, migrations are often quick and completed in less than 60 minutes. Large sites with complex configurations may take longer. We will provide a timeline before we start.
No. Your site stays live on your current host until the new environment is tested and ready. We handle the switchover during low-traffic hours so your customers never notice.
Not typically. This is a managed service, so we recommend opening a ticket when you need a new plugin. This ensures proper documentation and that best practices are followed.
We backup your complete site daily and keep 90 days of history. Backups are stored redundantly in multiple locations. Restores are one-click from your dashboard.
We'll provide a complete backup of your site that you can take to any host. No lock-in, no export fees, no hard feelings. Your site is yours.
We focus exclusively on WordPress hosting. For business email, we recommend Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. We'll help you configure the DNS records.
